AgCareers - AgCareers connects job seekers with similar skills and career goals to a virtual community devoted entirely to their profession, industry or location. Employers can access an ambitious and targeted audience, making recruitment easier and more cost-effective. U.S. Census Bureau - Quick and easy links to the latest data on racial and ethnic populations in the United States. MELDI - MELDI is a new project being launched by the University of Michigan's School of Natural Resources and Environment (SNRE). The project aims to enhance the leadership and career development opportunities available to minority students and minority environmental professionals. GEAR UP - (Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs) is a national initiative funded by the United States Department of Education. GEAR UP: Right Choices for Youth Partnership is the name of the project awarded to Region One Education Service Center, whose partners include twenty-four school districts, institutions of higher education, community members and businesses located in the Region One area. Student Op and Internships - a government site dedicated to giving links that offer students with a whole host of opportunities and internships. Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement - provides linkage and access for Hispanic professionals to private and public organizations, thereby strengthening the foundation for the professional and economic advancement of the Hispanic community. The Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education - Collection of useful financial aid, and other college-related links. Ag 101 - General agriculture information, provided by Purdue University, in conjunction with the Environmental Protection Agency. Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute- Established in 1978 by members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus as a non- profit, non-partisan educational organization dedicated to developing the next generation of Latino leaders. CHCI’s educational services are designed to provide Latino students with the tools and resources they need to succeed in attaining a higher education. The Environmental Careers Organization -ECO's mission is to protect and enhance the environment through the development of diverse leaders, the promotion of careers, and the inspiration of individual action. ECO accomplishes this through internships, career advice, career products, research and consulting.
